- Bryan Walker from Oshawa. Now living in Courtice. My first tri was an Olympic distance one at Chemong Lake. It was a very humbling experience. I found out that my performance did not rise to my level of confidence...it fell to my level of training. BUT I found out that the mental toughness was there AND that is HUGE!!!!! I followed that with a very successful Olympic tri in Coburg. The season ended by running in the inaugural Ajax half marathon. 2009 is all about the Subaru Muskoka Ironman 70.3.... CRANK IT!!!!!!
